2017 Club Only Competition Schedule

This year's officers are in the process of setting the 2017 Club-Only Competition schedule. Since a new set of style guidelines was introduced in 2015, we would like your input on the styles you would like to see in next year's COC. The 2015 guidelines include some new categories and revisions to the favorites! Have you heard of a Piwo Grodziskie or Lichtenhainer? These are just 2 of the categories in the Historical Beer category (#27) along with Gose, Pre-Prohibition Lager, and Roggenbier to name a few of the more familiar styles. A link to the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines is below for you to review if you are not familiar with the new styles. Please post 3 – 5 styles (name & number) in the thread below that you would like to see included in the 2017 COC schedule. We will tally the responses and set the schedule at the officer’s meeting on May 3rd.   BJCP 2015 Style Guide

Pale Bitter Europeans

How about Pale Bitter European Beer (category 5), around Limbo time?

I was also thinking we could cut down the number of categories at Limbo time, maybe pick a select few we think would be under represented in the Limbo.

Once we get a list, we can create a poll and let folks select their favorites for 2017.  We could then go with the top 6 categories.
