Volunteers Needed for the Bluebonnet

Here is a message from Marqus about the Bluebonnet.

We are in desperate need of volunteers for this year’s Bluebonnet. We need help with the Big Thirsty and the registration desk. If you are willing to pour beers, you need to have your TABC certification. (It takes about 2 hours and costs less than $10.) If you are willing to help with either the Big Thirsty or Registration, please contact Marqus at: [email protected]. Marqus has a spread sheet that can show you what is needed.

Thanks and I’ll see y’all next week

Bluebonnet Brew-Off Login on Saturday

The Bluebonnet Brew-Off Login is this Saturday, the 4th. Please come help if you can.

The process involves unpacking entries, putting stickers on the bottles and sorting the entries into boxes. Then an audit step and the boxes go home with the Site Hosts. It goes pretty fast but it takes a few people.

We have been asked to get some folks there early so we can be actively logging in entries by 9am. Several of us will be getting there at 8am.

Login is at: Peace Lutheran Church, 941 W Bedford Euless Rd, Hurst, TX 76053

It is a chance to hang out with members of other clubs in the area. Come join us!

Informal Swap Meet at Saturday Brewday

There will be an informal swap meet at the Brewday this Saturday. If you have stuff you want to buy, sell, trade or giveaway, bring it to the Brewday. I know there will be some ball-lock kegs for sale. My suggestion to the traders is, do your trading around 11am.
