I’ll be showcasing the August big raffle item, an Anvil brewing system, this evening. Tickets are available for $5 each and can be purchased tonight, at the Limbo Award ceremony, or online Here. Online purchases will close on Friday at 5 PM, and the raffle will be drawn on Saturday at the Limbo Awards.

Tonight’s regular raffle tickets are also available for $5 for 6 tickets. Prizes include two used in good condition 5-gallon kegs, a hop spider, an air pump, and two $25 gift cards from NTHBS.

August Big Item raflle

Hello NTHBA family

I am glad to announce we will have a big item raffle in August.

Anvil Electric System includes: 1xEletric Kettle, 2x Anvil fermenters, 1xAnvil jacket.

Raffle tickets will be selling for $5 a piece, you can buy the “green” ticket at the club meeting tomorrow, online, or at the limbo ceremony on Aug 17. The draw will be done at the Limbo ceremony and you don’t need to be present to win. Pictures below. Good Luck

June 11: Club meeting at Lion & Crown

NTHBA family!

This is just a reminder our June club meeting tomorrow will be at the Lion & Crown pub at Waters Creek in Allen, getting together at 6:30pm and business starting at 7pm.

I would like to announce that tomorrow we will be selling the regular raffle tickets (Blue tickets) and also a special raffle tickets (Green tickets) for a Grandfather Electric system, 110V with 9.25 gallons capacity.

Special raffle ticket will be $5 each, drawing will be on Saturday June 15 during the brew day. You will have 3 options to buy the green raffle tickets. 1) During the club meeting tomorrow, 2) During the brew day on June 15, 3) Online at Click Here

NOTE: you do not need to be present at the brew day to win, as long as you buy your ticket you can win!

If you buy your ticket online, please add your name and email address in the “order notes (optional)” box so we can email your ticket number.

The Grandfather system was only used once or twice by the original owner and will be at the club meeting tomorrow so you you can see it. Check the picture below

April Club Meeting Update / Reminder

Hello Everyone — Meeting tonight at Happy Hippie arriving at 6:30p and starting business at 7pm. Address: 500 Lockwood Dr, Richardson, TX 75080

Happy Hippie has now a new schedule, which they will be OPEN for the public today with an Open Mic event in the main tap room.

We will be seated at the outdoor covered patio by the side entrance. With that said, dress appropriately.

April Club Meeting tonight – Reminder

Hello Everyone

April Club meeting tonight at Happy Hippie Brewing at 500 Lockwood Dr, Richardson TX 75080.

Happy Hippie is closed on Tuesdays, but they will be open tonight to host our meeting. A great opportunity to visit a new brewery in case you haven’t been there yet and enjoy their beers while talking with some of their employees.

Food will be provided by the club – Sandwiches similar to the ones we had last month!

Re-posting : Bluebonnet Volunteers Needed. They need help from the NTHBA!

The Bluebonnet Brew-Off is in desperate need of volunteers for the Bluebonnet Awards weekend this weekend. You can work as little as an hour and it all helps. Please sign up! You will find it is actually a lot of fun.

We will also need other clubs help when we host the Bluebonnet next time so let’s help out the Knights of the Brown Bottle this year!

Big Thirsty and the registration desk are looking for volunteers. Multiple slots open!

Bluebonnet Volunteers needed

Hello All, Please find below bluebonnet communication requesting volunteers for Big Thirsty and Registration desk. If interested, follow the procedure and add your name in the google sheet (link below)

It’s that time, we need your help to have a successful Bluebonnet 2024!

Big Thirsty and the registration desk are looking for volunteers. There are multiple time slots for Friday and Saturday. All you have to do is fill in your name next to the time slot you would like to work.  All shifts are an hour, but feel free to sign up for more than one shift.  All materials and directions will be set-up for you. 

To sign up to volunteer, open the attached spreadsheet and add your name and requested information. There are two tabs, please make sure you are signing up on the appropriate sheet – Registration Desk or Big Thirsty (see bottom of the sheet).

If you are signing up for the Big Thirsty, please either send a copy of your TABC certification to me or bring a hard copy with you to the event, thanks.

IF you have any questions please feel free to reach out and ask. And yes, you may forward this to spouses or friends in order for them to sign up!
