Hello everyone – 2023 Addison Oktoberfest Eventbrite tickets are now for sale. We have 16 tickets and they are first come first serve. Click the link below to buy your ticket.
There is a waitlist. If the 16 tickets sell out and we get 8 on the waitlist and tables are still available, we will get another table.
Tickets are $15 each and include:
- One single day general admission for Friday September 15 only.
- One reserved seat at one of our tables in the Partyhalle deck table.
- One commemorative 0.5L Stein.
- One Paulaner beer.
- One commemorative lapel pin.
- Access to private bar.
2023 Addison Oktoberfest
The month of September is just around the corner so is the Oktoberfest.
On behalf of the Officers team, I would like to announce that our September club meetup will be at the 2023 Addison Oktoberfest on Friday September 15.
NTHBA has two tables reserved on Friday September 15 at the Partyhalle deck table area with a total of 16 seats. NTHBA will partially subsidize this event, and the remaining will be paid by the members that would like to attend the event.
Members will buy an Eventbrite ticket for $15. Each Eventbrite ticket includes:
- One single day general admission for Friday September 15 only.
- One reserved seat at one of our tables in the Partyhalle deck table.
- One commemorative 0.5L Stein.
- One Paulaner beer.
- One commemorative lapel pin.
- Access to private bar.
Tickets will be available for purchase starting on Wednesday August 30th at noon, first come first serve, in the Eventbrite link below:

Summer Party / Limbo Award Ceremony
This past Saturday we had an amazing Summer party which included the Limbo award ceremony. As Bill stated on his speech, this competition has received great quality beers. Besides all NTHBA members that attended the party, Chris Daily from San Antonio Cerveceros club was also present and ended up receiving his two third place medals live. Congratulations to the NTHBA brewers Terry Olinger, Reed Smollar, Mark Rendon for your winning medals.
Thanks for all NTHBA members that entered the competition and those that volunteered for judging, we could not have done without you.
Thanks for our 2023 Limbo Director Bill with the overall competition organization and Jimmy “The Data Guy” to make sure the backend system was properly working creating a great customer experience for the entrants to register/pay/check results online.
Last but not least – A Big Thanks for Brian & Melinda hosting this event, dedicating extra time on preparation and cleaning, making the swimming pool available during the 100F+ heat, smoking ribs, sausage, brisket, chicken and more – THANK YOU.

Limbo – Judging
Hello everyone, Happy Friday
This is a reminder that we will start judging the Limbo entries tonight, and continue on Saturday and Sunday.

Dates / Times
Friday, 8/4 – 7PM
Saturday 8/5 – 9AM and 1PM
Sunday 8/6 – 11AM and 1PM
We still need judges, so if you are willing and available to judge this weekend, please just show up even if you have not registered so our Limbo Data Guy will take care of that!!
