Hello
After about 15 years of brewing I finally joined the club this year. Can anyone tell me about the meetings? I'd like to know how to hear about the location of upcoming meetings and hopefully attend a few to meet everyone.

You can find meeting information in the newsletters on the website. Go to the website then Club Documents then Newsletters. This month's newsletter is running a bit late. There is an officers meeting tonight at Yard House in Addison. We talk about the club.
Next Tuesday, the 10th, the Club meeting is at the Homebrew Store, North Texas Homebrew Supply. We have been meeting on odd numbered months at the store. Even months at brewers or good beer places. Club meetings start about 6:30 with business at 7pm.

Thanks Jimmy. I did not know to check the newsletter section but that seems to have all the details. Any suggestions on the best way to get started with the group? I've missed the club meeting for this week but I see a brew day and "party" coming up.

The Brewdays are a great way to meet club members and learn about brewing.
The Club Parties are more about sharing beer and general conversation. Just join any conversation.

Well I obviously missed this post!!
But to be fair I had guests over for dinner on the 20th so it was very unlikely that I could have made that event even if I had known.
I think I'm going to try and join the brewday event in October. I have a weekly event on Saturday that doesn't work well with a nightly event on Saturday, unless I reschedule. But I should be able to attend an early morning event on Saturday.
So I added the date for the brewday in October to my calendar. I will wait to see the newsletter to get the details. Hopefully I can attend and get to finally meet a few people. I'm looking forward to it. If not October we can see what November brings.
