Saturday meetup suggestions

Post by Terry Olinger »

For September 2022, we will not have a Saturday meetup due to multiple beer events already occurring ( Labor of Love, Addison Octoberfest, club Brew Day). And we do not currently have one planned for October since we will have the fall party.

If you have any suggestions for future Saturday meetups, please feel free to post here. We are looking at Bavarian Grill for November.

For me personally, I like places with lots of traditional beer styles, i.e. not all hazy IPAs. I enjoy the sessionable beers.

Four Bullets is a favorite.
Bavarian Grill is good for German Bier.
White Rock Ale House was good.
Odd Muse usually has a couple of lagers.
Londoner usually has London Pride. Had a bad server at the Officers meeting.
Community.
Manhattan Project.

I'd be up for some mid-cities places but I don't know any of them.

All of Jimmy's are good. Londoner seems hit and miss these days, but the new Mockinbird Station location might be better when it opens. I've added some distilleries too below. The mid-cities locations could involve clubs from over there like Cap & Hare or Horsemen
Local:
  • Tupps
  • Bankhead(Rowlett)
  • Intrinsic
  • Westlake(never been)
  • Londoner-Mockinbird Station
  • Lockwood(distillery)
  • Saucer(Cypress Waters or Lake Ray Hubbard)
Further Out:
  • Division Brewing(Mid-Cities)
  • Turning Point(Mid-Cities)
  • Western Son Distillery(Pilot Point)
  • BENDT Distilling(Lewisville)
Cheers!
