Fermzilla on Wheels and Cleaning

Post by Jimmy Orkin »

I found these wheeled platforms to put my Fermzillas on. There were on Homebrew Finds. Got them from Amazon. They work great.

My 5 gallon Fermzilla was leaking so I took it apart and gave it a bath in my kitchen sink. Then reassembled it with lots of Keg lube. No leaks now.

The wheeled platform is for potted plants. The Amazon link for what I bought is below:

I've gotten some great ideas from homebrew finds. Great idea.

Speaking of wheels, I hated my Blichmann tower of power not having wheels. Having to awkwardly carry it around has always been a pain. I can see why they don't offer them since it is fairly top-heavy. I found some 3" locking casters with the required 1/4-20 thread, and it seems to be stable enough. Now, I can just roll it to wherever it needs to be(brewing, cleaning, storage) with ease.
Cheers!
