May COC results are in!

The May COC had a very good turn out with 9 entries, representing 9 different styles, the quality of the beers was excellent with half the entries scoring a 40+ over better as judged by a James “Smitty” Smith and Mike Grover (who is a BJCP certified judge).

After the mini-BOS, the judges selected Randy Grogan’s Belgian Blond Ale for the Bronze, Terry Olinger’s Helles Bock for the Silver and the Gold goes to Mark Rendon’s Dark Mild. All excellent beers.

Thanks to North Texas Homebrew Supply (now open on Mondays) for allowing us to use their store for few hours and Jimmy for staying late.

Thanks again to all who entered, the next COC will be in July, registration will open July 1st and close the day of the July club meeting (COC takes place on the odd numbered months).
